You will need Windows Media Player V7 or above (I think) to view the player - older WMP versions don't support it, you could try changing clsid:6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6 to clsid:22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95 and see if that works for more people.

Have a look in my page at http://myspace.com/djoverload to see if it works now, I'll edit the original post with updated code if it does

No. Still not viewing the player
I am using WMP 11. Gonna try and re install IE7.


EDIT: I have re installed IE 7 and the problem still remains. I have also amended the code and still no joy.

I just tried viewing my proflie from my parents comp and the player works fine for me through IE.

looks nice, would be a cool feature to add the DJ playing live to the player, like on the top of the page here, just a suggestion to improvement, i dunno if its possible tho, I'm not good at that sort of thing

Ignore me, I just had a quality idea, I'll work on that over the next day - it can be done with a dynamic image like the banners - wish I'd thought of that before lol

PS; yes I know the font is horrible, I will need to install extra stuff on the server to enable different fonts and basically can't be arsed

Ive managed to get the player to work now

If anyone is still having difficulty then try updating your java and adobe media player software. Also try removing Quicktime player if u have that installed. It comes pre-packed with iTunes so if u got that then u got Quicktime.
