Time for another round-up of the latest news from your Top Drum and Bass site. It’s been a quiet month for the site, but not so on the line-ups. Absolutely ‘bangin’ sets as usual from all the DJs and MCs.

first got introduced Into the Drum And Bass scene when I was young in 1993 & 1994 listening to various tapes and mixes that were about at the time. From listening to this I was inspired by many of the DJs that were about and needed to DJ myself but it wasn't till late 1999 I started learning how to DJ, but as time went on I seemed to pick the skill up pretty well and become more experienced. From this time onwards I felt ready and started contacted various promoters around Portsmouth playing and Doing odd bits of MCing at Club EQ, FDT, Jungleurs and other events. From there I started playing on London Live and Direct radio in early 2000 which I had a resident set there every Tuesday and played along side my friend DJ sparkee and other DJs from the London area. From playing on there I did a lot of networking with different people meeting new friends in the DNB scene and new promoters which was a great help to me later on.From being on London Live and Direct and seeing how radios run I was inspired to make my own radio station with help from my dad and friends I formed QualityBeatsRadio in early 2002 giving DJs and MCs in the Portsmouth area a chance to broadcast there style on radio and it is running Live today. From there onwards i starting meeting quite a few people in the drum and bass scene mc`s and dj`s whiched helped me more.and i then joined UkBassradio for a weekly slot meeting new dj`s and freinds and also joined reputationfm playing every thursday b2b with guests, and still playing guests sets on others .I also started producing my own beats which I always wanted to do Finding New Sounds And beats to make new and diffrent tunes all the time for myself to play on radio Using Cubase,Reason,Fruityloops,VST`s and various other software and some bits of hardware.also got into vinyl cutting equipment buying old and new cutting parts learning about cutters and how they work which am really into at the moment. We are a proactive site and are always looking for new talent for the station. So if you think you can mix, or you have put down a track that you think we could play on air, then follow these simple steps.
1. Contact us at the email below telling us what you would like to submit or alternative click on the link next to “free session/apply now” in the radio schedule.
2. If you submit a mix then it should be between 45 and 60 minutes long, with a track list as much as possible.
3. Send us the link to the download and we will get back to you or contact us for FTP details.
