I've messed about a few times with console apps like Music etc.. and also made a couple of tunes with logic in college. Are those examples you guys gave suitable for beginners.
Thanks

I think Reason is best and if you spent some time gettin into it, it's also suitable for beginners. It has so many cool features, so i'd suggest you'd give it a try...

Cheers

in my opinion Cubase. As an all round production tool i think its the best there is and the sound is great. I dont actually use it myself as I know reason and fruity loops much better so stick with them. to be honest i think thats the key. Although Cubase in my opinion is the superior of the 3 i wouldn't get the most out of it, where as FL seems far more user friendl;y. what ever u use most and understand the greatest will be the most productive.

As for the best for beiginners......Fruity Lopps will be the easiest to learn...but then if i was to start out from the beginning I would learn Cubase or Logic I reckon. Hope this is of some help.
