nothing compairs to technics with good needles (I even went as far as to level each side of mine) I only have one mk3 and one of my first gemini pt-2000's.... Very Happy I've cut on vestax and they cannot compair with the torque of the technic motor----- buy butter rugs if you havent already! it's that plastic looking slip matt that comes with most new technics, the sales rep at your local sound shop will most likely hook you up with a free pair if you buy somthing or if they know your face, or just go buy some if you've got some extra $quidro

Totally disagree! Having, obviously used both turntables, Vestax is by far the most superior! Vestax are so much smoother! Have a go for yourself Wink

no one's played on the ttx? variabloe torque control, +/- 50%? they definetaly don't hold up as well as the technics, but as good if not better than the vestax.

altho, tell u the truth, i'm in favor of the techs either way

Wink

mostly on longevity and preference of their overall "ergonomics" (spose dat would b da propah term)

I own vestax, they r top notch Very Happy
I've tried technics, they r not as "direct"
Technics do have the known reliability factor
Just have 2 wait and see about vestax.... Question
