Trouble with IP banning, in the cardiff region ntl users have same ip address which is a right pisser. I'm looking to get my own, i think you can pay extra for it or something, not too sure.

I would usually b the 1st 2 agree wiv CJ & "freedom of speech" - hence y i haven't posted an answer in this post... until now!

I woz thinking that we should just let it stay as it woz but after the idiots spamming the chatbox for 20 minutes or so & being abusive 2 the female listeners 2nite, i think the log on thing would b a good idea.

Although we dont want 2 put off new listeners, i'm sure we all want 2 keep ukb a cool place & want 2 keep out the idiots that r just out 2 piss everybody off!

I know it's only verbal banter but i'm sure none of the girls like being called slags & having it spammed the whole way down the page & it's not a good thing 4 the genuine newcomers who r here 4 the music 2 read either!

If you've got nothing to hide then it shouldn't b a problem - once u've logged in once, u can keep coming back without having 2 log in again, as it keeps ur login details if u want it 2!

Well thats just my 5 pence worth!

if u was to make a bigger chat room dat ya had 2 sign into but leave da 1 on the front like most places do then it wud still work

haha i just seen wot ragman and others sed on the 1st page but if ya go by my idea it solves all dat dont it lol new ppl can still chat but der is anova chat room for ppl who have to sign into and that wud be the main one then it could be bigger then the 1 we got atm which wud be betta cos if u got too many ppl in der at one time by da time u sed summink its gone off the pace cos every1 has spoken lol

have a think about that 1 cos it seems like the best way to solve the problem to me wivout upsetting any1 then u can just block the person but i sopose dey cud come back again erm.... block their e-mail address that they signed up with then there is no need to worry about banning peoples IP n banning half teh country lol

just an idea not tellin u to do it but it seems the best ansa to the problem

anyway ill stop blabbering haha

I'm thinkin that there should be a chatroom that you have to sign in to post in but at the same time, there could be a "chat preview" on the main page - pretty muchthe same as the chat box but with no option to post from the main page. This would mean that we could see who is chatting without having to go into the actual chat room.

People agree?
