After a short break, both SOUNDPROOF & RE:MISSION return to bring you the legendary DOM & ROLAND. A man who really needs no introduction, this pioneer of the scene will be making his first appearance in the city for several years. In the early 90s Dom spent his time mastering the works of legends in the scene and some of today’s biggest artists such as Matrix, Trace, Ed Rush & his own brother, Optical. Taking his skills forward into his own productions he built up an extensive back catalogue not only on his own imprint, Dom & Roland Productions, but with the legendary labels, Moving Shadow, Prototype & Metalheadz. His set will no doubt be laden with new collaborations with artists such as Black Sun Empire, Gridlok & Klute, mixed seamlessly with a selection of his new solo material, drawn predominantly from his forthcoming "Through the Looking Glass" LP. As if that wasn’t enough, there isn’t a tune worth knowing about that doesn’t grace his record box, making this is a must-see event for all followers of the scene.

SOUNDPROOF residents MIGUEL & CONTRA, alongside RE:MISSION residents SIC.NOTE & INDUC3D - performing for the first time under their new joint production moniker, PANDEMIC – will be providing support alongside two very special guests: Leeds drum & bass stalwart RUCKSPIN & dubstep heavyweight SKAVOOVIE.
Hailing from the Central Beatz camp in Leeds, RUCKSPIN's reputation has grown over the years. Playing alongside many of the scene’s biggest names, he has proved his ability and versatility time and time again as both a DJ and producer. Tonight we've given him our blessing to take it to the dark side, playing the latest sounds from highly regarded artists as well as his own selection from his home studio.
SKAVOOVIE will be kicking off the evening’s antics with a selection of the freshest dubstep & grime the world has to offer. You'll be treated to a lesson in the harder, darker side of the two genres as he brings the deeper frequencies and stomping beats to get the evening started.
Hosting the event, also hailing from Leeds crew Central Beatz, is MC JILA.
With the new SOUNDPROOF system providing crystal clear audio, extra decor & lighting courtesy of Illuminaughty & visuals displayed across the club courtesy of Popeye, for one night only Joshua Brooks will be transformed to bring you the perfect setting for an unbelievable night of drum and bass fuelled revelry.
