After the huge success of beatalistics digital-only release serie - Dub Tao’s dub bass reggae smasher "More Trouble” (beatdig001) was the current No 1 of the beatport drumnbass download charts! - the next mp3 tunes are about to enter the drumnbass arena: two impressive liquid funk rollers one produced by Phunkfiction Recordings mastermind Bass Tikal with LF Flow and the other by the up-and-coming german artist Kareemo. Both tracks are taken from the upcoming mix cd “HiVitality - vital styles of drumnbass” coming out in january 2007 on beatalistics Records.

Loving the soulful side of drumnbass we were pleased to hear about Phunkfiction Recordings, Bass Tikals own Liquid Funk imprint. When he came to our monthly HiVitality club session we got to know his musical way to dj and also his wicked style of producing Drumnbass Music. So we definetly wanted to have one of his awesome tracks for our compilation. This guy is really swinging together with his LF Flow!

Kareemo

He is such a composer talent. Besides using his skillz to create filmscores, Kareemo got into drumnbass since he has been sharing a production studio with us. Kareemo's tunes always show the producer's keen sense of melody. And as you can hear he also likes high quality pop music. "These Eyes" features the great voice of Manoo that gives the tune a delicious pop appeal. Kareemo will establish himself in melodic drumnbass and we are happy to present his promising first steps.
