I wanan buy one. but idk what size and stuff
I was thinkin about a 15 or 18. but the 18s are sooooooo much more expensive that i dont know if its worth it.just in my room anywayz;)
So any advice that would help me would be welcome.
Also about what brands are good and whats brands are not and that shit:-D

hmm....interesting question. depends on what you need it for. some subs might not throw the sub frequencies a long way ie it will sound phat in a small room which to be honest is better for the size of the room as the sound waves will form in the smaller space. some subs throw the bass and form the waves in a larger area ie in a smaller room it will not sound tight as the waves are not forming properly.

I personnally use a tannoy ts10. its designed predominantly for studio monitoring (thus is more near field than projecting the sound) but sounds really tight just listening to the radio/ cd's ect. its got a 300 watt rms driver and i think a 10 inch cone. i dont think the size of the cone fairly represents the sound. I had a 120 watt m audio sub which was shite. My mate has got a 100 watt gale sub and it was loads better than the m audio. in fact its phat but to be honest doesnt quite have the frequency range or the 'tightness' of the tannoy. The gale sub projects the bass for miles andd gets all doors/ windows rattling!!! depends on budget for sure but i would serioulsey recommend trying some out first and then buying off the net (cos its cheaper ).

my room is roughly 7m by 3m and the floors rattling about 1.5/ 2m from the sub and you can feel it nicely in the legs/chest. when its warmed up the bathroom door downsatirs is rattling the cone faces down to the floor which initially i was dubious of but then when its warmed up,.......ooo....

I'm not saying buy that sub becuase it might not be good for what you need it for but i guess what i'm trying to say is that size of cone/ sub might not matter.
