Boh!!! man those AWOL sets have changed nuff peoples live into the realms of DnB. they were (and in some cases still are) the benchmark of quality DnB All mine are on tape but cant play em ATm

Yeh used to cane the AWOL tapes back in the day....everyone got so hyped aboput the next packs. The best DJs and the only MC who counted - used to love going to AWOL....the wave of excitement as GQ came on, the dubplates and mixing from the dons....the lunchtime finishes on Sunday....seminal shit.

Used to cane the old Obsession tapes too lol

Well, i have loads of tapes that i am trying to get converted. The mission, not to take about 10 years to do it.....

G Q, Darrne Jay, Randel, Kenny Ken Live @ AWOL, Jungle Sound Class i think, MOS, this is about 94ish. carnt stand this, this is a prime example of what went wrong.

In fact i fuking hate this mix..... Reminds me of countless doggy gig around 95 ish ...lighter, fuking re wind, don't dance listen to me and how good i sound, cos my ego is Massive, i have even heard GQ saying Yabba Dabba Do (Hasting Peir, sorry GQ) i mean how is that gona enhance my night.
