Following on from the great success of our 1st Birthday, it’s Medium time again on Wednesday 21st May 2008 at Plastic People.

We’re taking you through all styles and eras for this event and have something for everyone.

DJ Storm has been ripping up the scene for some time now and still has her finger very much on the pulse. For those that remember though, her place in drum and bass was really cemented playing week in week out down at the legendary Blue Note in Hoxton – before most people had even heard of Old Street! These were the sessions that really moved the music forward and are known for their amazing vibe and forward thinking music policy. Storm will be playing a ‘Back to Blue Note set’ at the next Medium and this guarantees some serious beats and memories, which needs to be witnessed!

We also have the one known to some as the ‘Silky Bar Kid’, Alix Perez, who has stormed into the scene and is now responsible for some of the most thought provoking, lush and grooved out dancefloor numbers. Alix will be representing his sound at Medium, prepare yourself for some beautiful music, but also be prepared for the unexpected!

Prolific are some seriously hot property right now. With releases under their belt on Crunch, Future Thinkin’ and forthcoming cuts on Industry and Rufige, these guys are ready to blow drum and bass apart, so we thought we’d get them down to show us all what they’re capable of!

Sigha & Bekah complete the line up and will be providing some hot dubstep & drum & bass riddims for all the crew, doing the damage on the PP system!

All of this will be hosted brilliantly by the highly knowledgeable and very talented man of the moment MC System and also the vibes bringer, MC Blackeye.
