U:TONE - BRAVE NU WORLD - LP + CD

The brand:nu, Debut LP from the boy who fell to earth is ready to drop. Coming on high quality hospital triple vinyl and CD it's our first LP of 2005 and it's a killer!

With plenty of nuggets to keep any dancefloor rocking. Club favourites like 'Ebb + Flow' and 'Right Now', fully road-tested on plate, plus 'Countdown' (a family funktion with Dan's own little brother Logistics), alongside bonafide smashers for the CD crew: 'Breathless' and the classic re-rub of Lenny Fontana's 'Spread Love'.

Heavyweight vocal hook-ups are an integral part of the LP - original studio business; no half-arsed accapella nonsense! Jazz diva Natalie Williams wraps her sultry vocals around the radio bomb 'Seven Years', and dancefloor bomb 'Strange Encounter'. SP:MC picks up the mic for his recording debut, to add hypnotic lyrics and North London know-how on the dubwise bubbler 'Heaven Sent'. 'Can We?' sees Nu:Tone join forces with London Elektricity and Liane Carroll, resulting in full-on gospel infused soul heaven. And, as if all that wasn't enough, Soul 2 Soul legend Rose Windross makes a very rare guest appearance, bringing her unmistakable voice to 'All Over The World'.

There are a couple of copies of the LP on white label in the HOSPITAL SHOP now - for the PROMO crew, and the finished album will be hitting your shelves on the 7th of march.

It's a Brave Nu World, and NU:TONE is steering the mothership into town. Following January's roadblock with the mighty FABIO, LE and CYANTIFIC, we get set for another smasher for the NT launch party. The NU Boy himself is joined on the mic by the mighty SP:MC and NATALIE WILLIAMS (of Strange Encounter & Seven Years fame) for some live+direct album pressure. Add to that a return visit from the bouffant HIGH CONTRAST, plus LOGISTICS, LONDON ELEKTRICITY and DJ CAMO, this is one essential line-up. On the top floor LANDSLIDE and the GOOSE welcome back Choice FM, and NHS family member, LUCY AMBACHE for a little crunky funk. You know it's the bomb.

WEAPONS OF MASS CREATION part 2 is looming large on the horizon, and the time is right for a sneak preview of this years dubplate arsenal.
Nuggets from CONCORD DAWN / TOTAL SCIENCE / CYANTIFIC & TACTILE / FRICTION & NU BALANCE / CLS + WAX / LOGISTICS and many more.
