Ez all,

Just wondering what you all use hardware and software wise for production and mastering.

OK....so let me be more specific.

Are you all using internal soundcards with onboard AD/DA converstion or do you use a sound card with and external box connected via lightpipe or Tdif for example?

Do you do all of your mastering at home?

How are you recording live vocals?

Reason I'm asking is I'm due to be build a new pc/mac based system and haven't done so for some time,so I'm a little out of touch with current hardware/sofware.

Is it worth getting a Pc/mac based external recorder simular to pro-tools?
