Myself, and Strict, have both come to a decision that we want to help take UK Bass Radio to the next level.

We are planning on having a totally interactive radio show, where we will conduct the live broadcasts from feedback received from the listeners..

First off we will be working along side Gav (Boss man) Overload, to get a mini Forum style webpage as the base for this new project.

This mini site will contain VOTING polls, for a weekly, or possibly fortnightly top 10 D&B chart. Which would have been selected from for example the most submitted tunes from the listeners who are involved.

We will also be contacting labels/promoters/clubs galore to try and get as much info/news/prizes/guest mixes....the lot!!

Not forgetting an Unsigned/Z-Recordings Dub section, maybe where we will showcase the top 5 latest dubs we have received at the Z Recordings A&R section.

It is going to take a whole lot of time and effort for us both, but we are both feeling very positive about this project, and would appreciate all/any support from the listeners, and other UK Bass family.

Enough talking! Please help us get this up and running as soon as possible by simply sending an E-Mail With*preferred* or Without feedback - so we can create a mailing list to keep everyone up to date on the status of the project, and obviously let you know when it is going to be starting!

its just for OUR RADIO show... the ABUSE SESSIONS, we ant to make the show more formal, and informative, and more exciting, rather than just the 2 hour mix set that gets aired most times...

Yes there will be a NEW site, but will be a mini site (whichwill be a crossover between both the UKBASS RADIO website and our ABUSEDNB.COM site... Where the people communicate on the mini forum, to provide us with more stuff for the show.

Sorry if it seemed confusing in anyway mate.

people cant even be bothered to go into the chat room let alone wondering about sites to find out track listings etc.. i dont really under stand what u trying 2 do

Soundz like a cool idea bwoyz!!!

As you all know, I'm well in favour of shows having a slightly different format than just playing the newest choons in the box, which is obviously the original style and a good way to keep listeners who dont mix/buy vinyl, up to date with new releases.

My shows take a more Genealogical approach to Jungle- the aim is to take people on a journey through the History of Jungle and so I always have a different concept for the show/mix each week.

So I think It's great you guys are trying to change your format in the other direction, finding out what THE LISTENERS Faves/Top 10s are and rinsin them. After all, thats what radio shows and DJing's all about isnt it-the listeners being there to listen to the mixes and feel the choons?

I understand peoples reservations about the amount of participation/response listeners will provide, but then this will always be the case with any such venture, and doesn't negate the point of trying to do this in the first place.

Maybe you could record a short 10-15 second message asking people to e-mail with their fave choons, and get the server to play it in between shows/archives?

I think the show will be cool, and the nature of any kind of plebicite/consulting of the people is that you can only ever represent those who decide to get involved and communicate their thoughts and ideas. So whoever gets involved will be very likely to have their fave choons played in the Top 10.

Well done for a bright idea guys!!! You can count on me to take part!!!

Have you thought about a seperate Liquid Top 10, or will it jus be the Top 10 of all responses. Maybe I could help with that?
